Hey guys, I'm Eric Tagesen, from New Orleans. I was a Pneudraulics Mechanic when I was a Airman in the Guard. I liked it so much, that I went active, and got wrapped up in Rivet Workforce, and soon found myself as a Crew Chief on F16s at MacDill AFB in the 62AMU, B-Flight. I have also been stationed at Torrejon AB in the 613th, and I think it was also B-Flight. I spent a little time in the 307th at Homestead, then transferred to the 926th AFRES to crew their F-16s, until they converted back to A-10s. That's when I became a Spark Chaser!! I've been an electrician since 1995, and a Master Sergeant since 2000. I now work full time for the 159th Air Guard in Louisiana on their F-15s. I'd love to be able to reconnect with some of the people I came across while on Active Duty, or on deployments. If anyone out there remembers me, drop me an Email:

| Boy, look what the cat dragged in... Remember the mid shift at homestead. If only we could write a book about the past. When you going to get in over here at Eglin? |

| Actually Lewis was the scariest Chief I ever knew, he would look you dead in the eye and tell you he did not like you and he hoped he could kick you out, Eric should remember him,, I will to the day I die. |

I remember him...but I also remember Chief Powell...and he was the best Chief I ever worked for. And now that I'm older, and realize how much influence all my past supervisors have had on me...some I use as examples of who I want to be, and some as examples of who I don't want to be!
Stutler...you and I have had some good times. I didn't realize what a life long friend I was making in your when we were on swings down at Homestead....but we've kept in touch all this time...that's GREAT!
And Vinnie...seeing you here on this Forum has brought back so many good memories. I have a picture of you, and your brother at the Air Show at MacDill in '88.
To answer your question from earlier...they say I still am that crazy guy you remember....even though I didn't think I was! |

Ahhh, those were the days. I was 63TFTS (87-89) just down the ramp watching all of you 'Blue' guys out there scrubbing jets...
Also at TJ, gut stuck in Phase (89-91).

We were at MacDill and TJ at the same times then...we probably knew each other at least by face.
Did you know Kim Kuypers from MacDill and TJ? |

| CMSGT Lewis and Powell? Haven't heard those names in a while. The jets were never clean enough. The wash rack sucked. Sgt. Randy Young here. Macdill 1988 to 1991. 62nd AMU, weapons. Ran with Erik Severino, Paul Starr, Lamaar Jenkins, Dave Kuhnell, Dave (red head, forget the last name), Rob Torres. Worked under Dennis Skovera for awhile, before Scott Holstein came on scene. Then picked Andy Clear as a 2 man. Hung at the Green Iguana on Westshore Blvd. Seperated in 1991 and returned to California. Became a cop, and write childrens stories under the name R. M. Garcia. Anybody remeber Ed Eileen? Sad event. How about Msgt Sillivan, always had a sunburn. Sure miss that place. Eric, didn't you smash your hand in a pintel hook? |

Was in the day room in 147 when the wreck happened, could easily hear it. Spent some time at the Beacon myself...
