Personally I don't give a flip about the sport of football. When I was a kid my dad would take us to Dallas Cowboy games where I watched great players like Bob Hayes, Bob Lilly, Walt Garrison, Randy White, Don Meredith and others play for the love of the game, and the Dallas Cowboys actually played in the city of Dallas (they haven't in almost 30 years). Now (to me) the sport has degenerated into a mass marketing scheme where players have teams of agents and play for the love of money. OK that's my rant.
This thread is about what the Super Bowl means to me, and that is one thing, and one thing only. Every year for forty years now the passing of the Super Bowl means it is time for the Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Yes folks the latest issue hits the newsstands this week.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our forum hosts for their contribution to this year's issue - Jessica van der Steen from Antwerp Belgium.
