I'm in the Air Force Reserves as a Fuel Systems Specialist. It's not that bad but I want something else. I have been doing this for 7 years and still know nothing.
I want to find something in computers. I have gone to school for programming/networking/repair. I only have associate degrees though and am still working on a BA. I've been to the afpc website and have submitted for over 150 jobs (not all computers). I can't even get a call back. I have 5 points veteran preference and a secret clearence. There is a position at my base called workgroup manager. All they do is set up new work stations, load os's, load updates, and general help desk support. I know I have the skills to do this.
Anybody have any suggestions on how to get a new job?
