That's a view from Blue #4 in a maneuver they call the "Double Farvel": They are in a diamond, with #1 and #4 inverted. Nice photo.

I read somwhere that during their displays they can get as close as 45 centimeters (1,5 feet) from wingtip to wingtip!!! Hard to believe but probabley true.

Yep, it's definitely true! I've seen the Blues more times than I can remember and they're always CLOSE!!!
