Damn! Apart from the obvious friction damage, I am surpried to see no obvious cracking or dramatic failures in the components....Apart from the fact the gear deployed sideways!!!!

It looks liked the pilot stopped the plane just in the nick of time, those bearing housings were just about to be breached. Could have seen the whole lot break up after that.......

The bearing housing on the one wheel was breached, it looks like it just kept right on grinding.
