My name is John and im currently an aerospace engineering undergrad at Texas A and M.
I have no military connection to the F-16, but I grew up in Ft. Worth and many family friends work out at the old GD plant and my uncle, who had worked on F-16 Export models for many years and is now moving to the Joint Strike Fighter.
I heard plenty about it growing up, have seen plenty of them out at Carswell (now Ft Worth Joint Reserve Base), have been down the mile long assembly line at Lockheed, and consider it the greatest and most beautiful aircraft flying today. Its definetely my favorite. |

It takes engineers to build a bon-fire like- thats why you only saw them at Texas A&M!
One day it will be back, and I'll buy a first class round trip ticket to be there.
