| I’m an old B-52 mechanic now working up in R&D and told that spline tools and fasteners are tough to get. Can anyone out there shed some light on this? |

| Spline tools can be bought though any major tool provider. Stanley, Mac, Craftsman, Snapon all provide the spline tools. As far as fasteners are concerned, I haven't encountered any problems. |

I’m aware of the sources but apparently most are made by Granco Inc (regardless of the name stamped on the tool) who’s falling behind. I know MAC has their own military division meeting the demand but wondered how well known or how wide spread this issue was.
Is for the fasteners, I was referring to the radial slot bits which we’ve seen go on back order for several months. |
