Apparently the F-35 will have a combined electrical generator and starter unit. Compared to the Viper that would remove the JFS, which I’m sure those who work on it don’t mind. Not sure how much it effects generator design though. Guess it grows a little. Can anybody see any drawbacks with this concept?
