Is it necessary to take to the ASVAB to attend the Air Force Academy? If so what are the minimum scores?

No. You take AFOQT for officer positions, which is what you'd do if you went to the academy.

You need to take the SAT or ACT to get into the Academy. If you take the ACT, shoot for a 30 or so. I never took the SAT so I'm not sure what scores they're looking for with that. If you don't get a good score the first time, take it again. I took the ACT three times before I was happy with my scores.
