Unless you live in a cave, or are in a coma, you know Super Bowl XXXIX will be held Sunday, Feb 6th from Jacksonville, FL. What you might not know, however, is that the USAF will be using the event to display its newest plane. After the National Anthem, two Raptors from Tyndall's 43rd FS "The American Hornets" will perform the flyover. Should be cool. Check it out. Later.

| Also they'll be in formation with two Super Hornets. But of course I'll mainly be watching for the '22s. |

Thanks for getting the job done right ! Just curious, why did you have to get them ready on Friday for a Sunday mission? |

As pregame ceremonies go, I must say that that one was one of the best in years even though the dorks in the van didn't give near enough time to the fly over IMHO. Military choir, combat vets from years past, Billy Jeff kept the pants zipped , no Hollywood BS and NO young Pop music nymphette trying to out do Whitney Houston's version of the SSB from '91.
Best part was the coin toss.....or was it the coin "drop"? The young kid didn't put any flip on it so it fell flat. The kid had to be incredibly nervous and the players showed some class in not asking for a re-flip. Nice one guys! |

I was going to mentiont hat before, but forgot. The opening ceremony was an AWESOME tribute to our servicemen and women. Really well done, I enjoyed it.
The only problem with the whole superbowl was I had the Pats winning 24-14, and the eagles somehow scored another touchedown!!! |
