DUSTY RICKETTS / Daily News

"EGLIN AFB — The world’s first two fifth generation fighter jets, the F-22 Raptor and the F-35 Lightning II, flew together for the first time anywhere Wednesday morning.

The sortie, which lasted about an hour and a half, was part of a continued partnership between Eglin Air Force Base and Tyndall Air Force Base."
