Hi.
I have been trying to figure out since a long time now that how the jammer actually works inside the cockpit. What are the indications that the jammer is turned on and that no one has detected you yet and how is the jammer actually turned active ? What are the modes of jamming and what are the procedures for jamming acurately ?
Procedures for ALQ-131 or ALQ-184, both will be appreciated. So, any help ? |

Hi Yasir. I'm pretty sure there is a fairly extensive 'Jammer' thread already on 16.net, at least with as much info as posters could offer. I'm sorry I don't have a link for it but if you dig around a little you'll find it.

| Thanks buddy. I'll try to search for it. The only problem is, I have no idea how would I get clear results for what I need ? In the search bar at the top, I usually don't get the results I expect. But thanks anyways. |

Try this: Go to the 'F-16 Armament & Stores' forum. Scroll to bottom of topics list and you should see a 'Search' bar for old topics. Just search for 'ALQ-184' there. no probs  |

| You're not going to get much of an answer here. Both of those pods are classified and OPSEC keeps us from replying. If you're in the "bidness", go find a -99GS (hope my memory's correct here...) and it'll tell you. If you can't do that you have no need to know and you won't get an answer here. |
