So has anyone made it over to Al Dhafra yet?
I got an email today about AMMROC having a couple of Job Fairs.
AMMROC is hiring!
We are hosting 2 job fairs this week for Technicians, Quality Inspectors and Technical Trainers. Please bring your Resume and a copy of your DD-214 (if applicable/available). Plan to attend at either location:
Phoenix
August 6th and 7th from 9am to 5pm
Renaissance Hotel Glendale
9495 W COYOTES BLVD
GLENDALE, AZ
Las Vegas
August 9th and 10th from 9am to 5pm
Sam's Town Hotel and Casino
5111 Boulder Highway
Las Vegas, NV
Experience working on F16, C17, C130, AH64, UH60-L/M
or King Air in any discipline is preferred.
Salary:
Technicians: $80-100k Tax Free
Quality Inspectors: $100-120k Tax Free
Technical Trainers: $110-130k Tax Free |

Needs to be noted that I'm fairly certain those "Salary" figures are inclusive of your Housing Stipend and that you have to pay for your housing out of that. Just FYI

That is true. You do get paid a housing stipend but it is not extra. So if you are paying $45k/yr for an apt, than that is $45K less a year you will have in pocket. Also, those salaries are just figures. I was originally offered a pretty decent salary (in one of those zones) and when it was all said and done, the original offer could not/did not go through. I was still given an offer but substansially lower than the original and on the low end of those figures. |

| The average rent for abu dhabi/mussafah is between 60,000-100,000 aed. That equates to 16,200-27000 us dollars taken off the top. Is AMMROC paying for school for kids and travel for family members? |

AMMROC guys are slowly filtering in. I'm with Lockheed, but we are seeing them starting to come in the door slowly like I said.
