Evidently will not be used as a pretext to remove Assad.

No report on weapon used.

Luckily the crew is alive, according to the article.

The crew were lost.

Yesterday, Turkish General Staff announced how the a/c had NOT (!?) been downed. No info on how the a/c was actually splashed, yet!? I know it sounds strange because the official announcements were confusing as usual...

We are sorry for the pilots.
