Greetings all,
My wing is celebrating its 40th anniversary this week and to help celebrate it the wing commander's viper 86-0231 has been painted with a special tail flash. The art shows our heritage from flying F-105s, F-4s to Vipers and being Texas based. The aircraft will remain painted for the rest of the year and attend airshows as operations permit. She was pulled out of the hangar two days ago and will be flying soon.
Cheers
