If singapore is going to upgrade all blk 52 to blk 60 that means she will have a fleat of 62 blk 60s second only to uae unless she buys 20 more to replace the skyhawk.
Anyone can verify if the engines will be replcaed with a 32000lb class version and if any of the details surrounding this upgrade? |

| It's abit unbelievable to upgrade block 52s to block 60s... complete air frame, avionics change over.. Quite unbelievable especially if doing it for the entire fleet. Is the source verified to be accruate?? |

Where did this info come from? I don't seem to be able to verify that the Sing AF has actually requested the Bl 60 -- just that it has been offered.

| I agree with you. However I suppose that the 20 to be delievered might have some blk 60 avionics fitted already. one thing that puzzles me is the radar and engine - are they being upgraded or simply replaced if upgraded. |
