| If you're just visiting and not deployed under SOFA, then you might be able to pick up a Japan Rail Pass (you need to start the process before you arrive in Japan, from what I've read...). |

F-16.
USAF, based at Misawa AB, Aomori Prefecture.
10:12, during landing, front tire punctured.
Runway closed until 11:00.
10:55, two USAF F-16 based at Misawa AB, and two USN EA-18G, diverted to Hachinohe JMSDF AB, Aomori Prefecture.
JAL Flight 2222, from Misawa to Toukyou, delayed one and half hour.
