Hello everyone.

Although I have not played "Falcon 4.0" for a while and have never "mastered," I have always loved it and enjoyed "just flying the plane" and shooting every weapon possible! Smile

I usually set it on "unlimited weapons" (practice mode)... or something like that. Anyway it works for me.

Last time I bought it was on a CD-ROM called:
Falcon 4.0, Allied Force by GraphSim entertaintmet (2006)

STATUS OF THE GAME: Where are we today with the game?

Specifically:

- Is it still, basically the same? at least at its most basic mode? (I am sure it has evolved into a more complex game, almost reality).

- Can it be bought or downloaded from somewhere?

- Does it play using WIN-7? and does it play WELL?... or is it a headache trying to make it work, like many things with computers?

- Now, I already heard that the Graphics card is key. Would anyone know if my card (listed below) would be good enough?... it has to be!... because I have a new DELL XPS Laptop with 8 Megs of Ram... and I am not about to get another one in a while.

The latest and greatest version is currently the original Falcon 4.0 with the BMS 4 mod

Easy to install (you need the original Falcon 4.0 Disk - not Allied Force)

Runs on win7 (32 and 64) out of the box

GT555M might be okay - BMS is still only DX9 - really someone who actually uses it would be better placed to tell you

Hi,
I use a MacOS X 10.7 Lion iMac machine. I have purchased the Falcon 4.0 for Mac from the App Store. It runs well on my Mac, but the keyboard map does not match, perhaps due to the fact that I use a Turkish QWERTY setting.
