90% of that video was filmed here at NAWS China Lake. I have seen the F-35 up on the test stand where the do the survivability tests. Its a pretty cool place they have out there. They make a nice bone yard too. I would say there is about 200 or so airframes of all sorts and from many countrys just laying in the desert.

A couple of those clips were from WSMR, too. Man, the coolest thing was the AIM-9X clip- I had heard about those tests, but its another thing to see them.

Yea, I see the trucks they shoot driving around all the time. Most of the ranges are just behind my house so every few days I'll hear or see the dust clouds.

I swear I read something about those tests somewhere online within the last week or two and now I can't find it for the life of me. Doh

Time to rename the AIM-9X into the SRAPALM-9X (Short Ranged All Purpose Air Launched Missile)?

Indeed.

Raytheon has created, in effect, the AEM (Anti-Everything Missile).
