Damn, that was awesome!
If I didn't know any better, I'd think the F-35 flight testing program was going off without a hitch... |

Well maybe things aren't going 'without a hitch...' but it's safe to say things AREN'T going as bad as the sensationalized media and watch-dog reports try to lead us to believe.
For a test program I'd say it's going rather well.
By this point one of the Viper prototypes had a near crash during a high speed taxi, and belly-landing on another mission. One of the prototype Tomcats actually crashed during test, and how many Blackbirds were lost during their tests?
Guess that's why they call it 'testing' and why it's not done over populated areas?

I know. Believe me, I'm hoping it turns out to be as GREAT as LMC is advertising, because lives depend on it!
Still, corporate PR bugs me. It'd be great if they put it in terms you did, while also making comparisons as to how much more complex the mission requirements are/technology is... |

| Neither of those videos are 'corporate PR' -- they are from the ITF (Integrated Test Force) at both locations. In other words, they had government participation, scrutiny and approval before they were released. |
