Do inflatable ruses register on SAR?
I know some of the better ones would, not to mention they had 'heaters' blowing the air into them so they appeared on IR like a real aircraft.
As for the post I had at the top of this page on the lines of 'fitting weapons for show'...
The RF-86F "Haymaker" had it's gun-ports painted on the nose, no guns were fitted.
The North Koreans figured out if there were no ports on the nose of a Sabre it was Recee version, so they'd attack it. Without guns the Haymakers were at a bit of a disadvantage.g
False gun-ports were painted onto the nose so that opposing pilots would have a difficult time distinguishing between the Haymaker and the Sabre.
BTW I love derailing troll threads...

What's that metal pipe connecting the pod to the wing? |

That's a late model pickup truck in the background. And there is a blister below the cockpit. The handle in the intake cover looks pretty standard and more contemporary. The gun ports look artificial.... the cover over them in should look darker.

Artificial like "The RF-86F "Haymaker" had it's gun-ports painted on the nose, no guns were fitted."
The blisters covered the reconnaissance gear which also occupied all the space for the 6 - 50Cals in the nose.
That artificial?

| The fake F-16 has a few errors. The nose gear door is on the wrong side, the horizontal tail trailing edge does not droop down, and the left tip missile is twisted nose up instead of nose down. |

You must admit though on a bombing run in an enemy aircraft, or from a reconnaissance aircraft or satellite, it is pretty convincing...
Did anyone even notice the Fuel Truck is also an inflatable?

| I'm pretty sure most methods of reconnaissance would be hard pressed to discern between the two so I still believe decoys are viable. |
