Will this beautiful aircraft ever take to the skies again as a show bird?

nope. would cost tens of millions to make it fly again, then a couple dozen thousand per flight hour. Just isn't going to happen. And believe me, it pains me to say it.

Not likely. I'm pretty sure the avionics and such have been stripped and it is destined to be little more than a museum attraction never to fly again. You're just as well off asking for the XB-70 to fly again or the X-32 to fly again. Also the amount of repairs needed would cost a fortune and the maintenance would also be quite expensive.

I'll believe in the Super Valkyrie and Blackstar when I see them revealed.

I also heard the control surface actuators were removed for use on JSF prototype. Flying any prototype is a tricky business I hear and doing so for romantic reasons isn't worth it. So it is a static display item, lovely though.

Let's start with an FB-22 already and then go from there. KISS. Thumb

But who would want to go to an airshow to see an obese pelican with a goiter?

the intake may be an atrocity to aesthetics, but from the rear quarter views that wing is beautiful.
