Greetings all, long time lurker, first time poster - from Australia.

Can some one identify the flight jacket worn by the F-22 pilot who accumulated 1000 hours in the news section?

Seems like a black jacket, longer than a CWU.

Thanks and regards

Flying Bull

An official welcome to you, flybull. I noticed that as well and, unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you. The boots also threw me for a loop. Must be some cold weather gear. There are some guys, "in the business," on this forum who should be able to ID this gear for us.

Looks like a survival suit, or a "smock" (not sure of the spelling). Norwegian Viper pilot used orange or dark green suits when they flew just in case of a bailout over the cold arctic waters.
