Just wondering, are there any other locations besides Saudi Arabia that I can work at the backshop level on engines? I have worked on 220's and F-110's. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Already applied to Lockheed Martin in july and have not heard anything. According to their website, the position remains open.

The newly approved positions have been on the "back burner" for some time. They (the managers) have had a stack of resumes sitting on their desks for nearly a year. Because of this, some positions have already been filled. I'm not sure if there were any positions approved for the backshop. Your best bet is to be patient. What is your experience level? We currently have a lot of experience in the engine shop, and I'm sure that they aren't leaving anytime in the near future. Do you know anyone who is currently working here? After holiday (Eid), I'll ask if there are any available engine backshop positions still open. No promises. Best of luck.

Im a 7-skill level with backshop and phase experience. I do not know anyone currently working in the engine backshop. I appreciate the update on this situation.

Not sure who does the hiring but Tinker would be the place to look. Plus, are any of the CIRFs employing civs?

Gerald,

Unfortunately, there are no open engine (flightline or backshop) positions at this time. I would suggest checking back on the careers website for any future positions. Give it some time. One may open up for you. Good luck and best wishes.
