Over the years we've been able to collect all AMARC PCN numbers up to AAFG0603. This info was very well available, but since about 3 years this has apparantly changed dramatically with very little to almost no info being available any longer.

Of anyone knows PCN numbers of AMARG F-16s connected to their serial number, this information is very welcome.

Greets,

Although I have not been able to verify this, I heard about a year ago that AMARG was going to discontinue the AAFG etc numbers and just use the serial numbers of the jets for inventories.

Yes Jon, I know. And that is what I believed as well, I take your word for granted. But since we now have photo proof that recent additions on the AMARG grounds (late 2010 arrivals) did get PCN numbers, I'm a little in doubt here.

They do change those codes. As far as I know. the last AAFG's were apllied around October 1st, 2010, after that only type and serial are painted on the aircraft.

Yes, could well be but since we have a picture of a AAFG0744 number, we still lack the numbers between AAFG0604 and AAFG0744 (except from a few airframes). And we still need that data for our records to be accurate and correct.

Greets,

I wasn't trying to doubt you but wanted to bring that element into discussion. In fact it did with October 1, 2010 being a possible date. I've seen it duscussed on other forms as well. I can't find any PCNs on aircraft that have arrived after October 1, 2010.

Here's some more we don't have:
F-16C 84-1247/AZ AAFG0731
F-16C 85-1465/DC AAFG0727
F-16C 85-1486 AAFG0696
F-16C 85-1558/TX AAFG0734
F-16C 86-0223/TX AAFG0733
F-16C 85-1483 AAFG0643
F-16C 86-0233 AAFG0646
F-16C 85-0548 AAFG0644
F-16D 86-0041 AAFG0631
F-16C 87-0325 AAFG0632

Great info Jon. If anyone has more, please post them here.

BTW, if anyone has a picture of #87-0325, that would be great too.

I have a picture from 87-0325. Sadly it only shows the parking code as tail, wings and paint are completly gone. Where should I post it?

Regards
Dennis
