Bjorn,
Serial number is 3004. Damage is major but repairable. Nose gear sheared off and the entire forward cockpit section is damaged. I've seen photos but unfortunately do not have copies. Regrards, El Guapo

elguapo, The photo (From the RDAF) on page one of this forum posting seems to show it to be a E model.. 3004 is an F (2 Seater). Can anyone backup the findings and get us some photos.

Asif, I can assure you the tail number is 3004. I saw photographs that were shown to me by a LM engineer. The aircraft is an F model. Two of the photos clearly show the tail number, 3004.

Confused me at first also; but, I think the RDAF pictures were of their jet at Bagram.

It was in fact 3004, an F Model (two seater but occupied by only the pilot).

Another aircraft incident occurred where the pilot landed short and clipped the Radio Antennas at the beginning of the [Link pending approval]

Gotta love it.

Anyone found some decent photos of the mishap? PM me if you have.
