One thing I didn't notice in the press release, but I thought warrants some recognition, was that the 34th was stationed and occupied the Khobar Towers complex on June 25th, 1996.
My father was the squadrons First Sargent at the time. Whenever I think of the Rude Rams, I think about those days. Fortunately my dad made it home unscathed. He still has his wall clock that was stopped by the blast. But for others in the 34th weren't so lucky.
