So, it will be a 15 ton bomb. What were the specs on Little Boy and Fat Man? I realize these were both atomic weapons, not conventional ordinance, but A) It would be interesting to compare bomb sizes and blast yields and B) Just because this isn't a nuke in no way means that this thing is "conventional."

I think it's a great concept and I'd hate to be anywhere near it when it goes off Shocked

, but there are a few issues regarding its use such as the possibility of having to drop two of them to keep the delivery aircraft stable.

On the plus side, it has to make a few world leaders with deep bunkers think twice about their safety Very Happy

Not sure 'bout Fat Man but Little Boy weighed in at around 10,000 lbs. I heard Tibbets and Co. were a little worried the carriage hardware in the B-29 wasn't going to be stout enough to hold a single 5-ton load but as it turns out it was.
