The pod on Sta 5 looks like a normal ECM pod, but I have other questions:
- What kind of missiles are on Sta 2/8. The seeker head and fins look different than Aim-9s.
- What is on Hardpoint 5B? Hard to tell, but it doesn't look like a TGP we (U.S.) has.
- Why is there only 1 bomb? Is the aircraft returning and it didn't drop both?
- Why just 500 lb bombs? I don't see a JDAM or GBU guidance unit. Are they dropping dumb bombs?!!! |

Two F-16's returned from mission over Libya where two laserguided missiles and one GPS guided missile was launched against tanks. One of the missiles used was Iris T |

| Well yes you got it right, the norwegians use the AN/ALQ-131 ECM pod, IRIS-T HOBS missiles, the JHMCS, JDAM's, the Sniper XL pod, LGB's and so on. But I'm sure the one thing that makes that plane unique is the brake parachute... meet the the arctic Viper. |

At least the Viper carried two. Some F-18s were doing doing OEF sorties with 1 tank, 1 missile, and ONE bomb... |

I think he was asking about station 5 - that is clearly an ALQ-131 or some version thereof.
It does look like a sniper xl on 5b, GBU-38 on stn 3. |

The Iris T is an Air-Air missile. |
