Does anybody know the locations of fighter units in the USAF or ANG that operate in NY State? I know Niagara Falls doesn't and Syracuse switched to RPAs, any help is appreciated |

| I believe SYR was the last of the NY fighters. Everything else there now(besides the Reapers) is heavy stuff (tankers, airlift, rescue, etc.) |

| Link is right. The 174th was the last fighter unit in NY State. It is still designated a Fighter Wing, but they fly MQ-9s. If you're looking for a Guard flying job, either as a Pilot or Sensor Operator, it is a critically-manned field right now, and the 174th has a really awesome mission. You make flight pay, you wear a bag, and you'll be helping out our guys on the ground, not only providing "Eyes in the Sky", but also putting warheads on foreheads when needed to do so. |
