All jets still have the doors, and at one time (before I was flying it) they had issues with the doors, so they had procedures to takeoff with them closed. However, it was a weird procedure. They had to set the power at something like 80% until 50 knots, then increase it, but only if there was a crosswind less than 15 knots or something like that.
