No, you think again. There aren't any operational Su-35's or Su-37's squadrons - THERE NEVER HAVE BEEN - anywhere in the world so WEST Germany never operated them. And the EAST Germans have never operated the F-4's, F-16's, or the F-15's. EAST Germany was a part of the Warsaw Pact which meant they operated equipment of Russian origin. You are so wrong on every level you should just stop posting altogether.

The german's could have had the Su-37 and still would be heading down in chutes(if they were lucky)..trying to figure out what just happened.
The last few lines of Dozer's commentary in checksixx's post are hard hitting truth's. You can turn on a dime.. stand in mid air.. do somersaults or even make coffee in the cockpit..
But when you cant see it coming.. you were dead the minute you lifted those wheels off the ground.

Ugh... Think again, "WEST" Germiny was part of the War Saw pact before it was reunited, they have Mig-29's, Mig-25's, SU-27's, SU-35's, & SU-37's... Germin's operate all kind's of different aitcraft...Eastern Germiny Had F-4's, then upgraded to F-16's, they have F-15's, and just recently upgraded to EURO FIGHETER's to replace it's ageing fleet of Spc Cat Jaguars, & Tornado's... What do U think Luftwaffe flie's??? Messerschmitt??? Not since WWII has the Germin's built & flew there own aircraft...

You really don't know what you're talking about. "Germiny" (Germany) has never operated F-16, Jaguars or F-15s, and are building their own jets together with other countries (todays Eurofighter and in the past the Tornado).

What do YOU think the luftwaffe is flying. Obviously you really don't have a clue.

And for East Gemany flying MiG-25, SU-27, SU-35 and Su-37 in the past? HAHAHA, you must have been reading some science fiction stuff. Please, mister Validator, stop posting such idiotic posts full of spelling errors here. Thanks in advance.

I have not seen any video of a Sukhoi doing anything that I havent seen a video of a Raptor doing. I have seen video of a Raptor doing what a Sukhoi doesnt, namely the nose-up hover. In Thrust We Trust.

That is a horrible snap shot that totally violates the training rules. 200 Vc at the bubble (1000 ft vs raptors, always), and worse than 90 aspect. That's how to run two jets together, I hope that Hornet guy busted his ride. As for getting "bested", it happens all the time in BFM. People are human, and the margin of error is slim. An experienced pilot will punish mistakes harshly. A guy new in the Raptor can easily pork it away and get gunned because he made a mistake. Having a superior airplane does not make you invincible in BFM. How often do pro football players screw up plays? All the time... same with flyin BFM. It's an art, and whole lot of things can happen. Plus remember a single BFM engagement is like a single play in a football game. VERY possible to screw up one single play. But the Raptor won't lose the game to anyone. Period.

As a total air dominance package, the Raptor is worth its price tag. We're gonna wish we built more of them someday.

I believe your SA is all screwed up. West Germany was part of NATO, while East Germany (as in East Block) was part of the Warsaw Pact.
