| The F-15 can carry 8 AIM-120s, but normally carries 6 and 2 AIM-9X, for more versatility. |

Cali, minor point, that's actually 10 on the Hornet, but theoretically the Super can carry 12?
Theoretically, the F-15SE could carry 12 (plus potential for a bonus AAM on the centerline, my suggested config there would be an AIM version of ERAM). Note the F-15SE is reportedly having outside wing stations 'activated', each point able to carry a dual-rail = 8 under wings + 4 fuselage (or CWB). I'd like to see a pic with 8 on legacy F-15 thought too. Apparently (read somewhere on the net) there might be a clearance issue - under some conditions - with potential of the inboard wing AMRAAM damaging the CFT? If the case, then I'd settle for a 2+10 SE pic. |

| Too much time spent playing Ace Combat. If there are that many incoming bandits you need more wingmen, not more missiles strapped to every corner of the jet. |

You're probably not going to find a pic like that, because like I said. They load it 6+2 for versatility(which is a change from the old 4+4). They don't just arm a fighter for photo ops generally. |

I don't play ace combat and never have. I'm wondering if there is a picture showing a all 120 loadout. I have seen on a few sites that should it's capable of it. Just wanted to see a pic that proved it. So, if you have any info I'm all ears.
Thx for the info wrightwing, I figured that. When I was deployed to Guam, our F-16's always had a mix of 120's and AIM-9's. |

Now what may be easier to find is pics of AIM-120s on both the inboard and outboard ejector, showing that either side is capable of carrying them. |

I found a few shots of AMRAAMs on both the inner & outer rail on the wing station, but not both at the same time.
