| It happened in december 1990, right before we went to desert storm. All the pilots wore the wolf patch. All of us maintance guys wore the dragon patch on our bdu's till we got back to moody. |

Man....I'm afraid that's gonna look weird...in the few pics I have, its looks silver/gray....the printed silver, is....REALLY silver.
I could also use a decent closeup of the squadron badge....background looks the same color as the tailflash, so I'm afraid its silver as well.
Anybody? |

Lou Drendel's Viper book from early 90's indicate that the tailband is matt silver. Color pics of the wingking also show the matt silver tail band.
From my experience, Tamiya acrylic matt silver resemble the silver-color good, but this is only an indication |
