My kicking and screaming to get outta Dryass finally paid off. Heading back to Kunsan again in another shot to get overseas orders. Just wonder how life there has changed in 3 years since I been. Are cerfew times still 0000hrs during the week and 0100 on weekends? Any new fun laws/regs enforced. Lol. Anything that would be helpful from those who are there now. Just trying to see if it will feel like coming home or like being in a brand new place. lol. Besides the faces. Very Happy

I'm in the same boat dude, had orders several months ago but got coded here at Beale for a 3 yr lock down, but I got orders again for next June. Heard some sh*t has changed, like no Soju on base anymore, curfew times are still the same and other then I see more exercises not too much seems to have changed since I was there in 03

sharp got rid of the curfew....at least at osan.

No curfew, new dorms...like going to an old friends house...somethings have changed but, it still has that familiar feeling.

Thats one thing I would like to see pictures of, the new dorms. I've seen plenty of out side shots but nothing really on the inside. I would assume however being a crew chief, I might be back in1407 or 1418 perhaps. Both of those were in pretty good condition in 03 so I'd like to see what they have now. Even though I wont be there till next June lol

Yeah, I'm at Beale working the RQ-4. sh*t sucks pretty bad, looking to get back overseas also. Also wife and I are from Southern California, and we both hate the area up here in NorCal. Anyway, hey does anyone know if they are still running Paintball at Kun?? A couple buddies and I started the program back up in 03 and looking to play again almost every week. Anyone here currently there?? or just a lot of hopefuls lol?

Just got back from a TDY to Kunsan. Kunsan has no curfew and they are building new dorms. A-town has kettles now which are smaller than an ammo bowl and there are not more stages. I was there in '00-01 and surprise it has not changed too much.
