I'm kind of surprised no one is talking about this. HO is loosing their Raptors:

Elmo and Langley are getting 6 additional jets each and the 7th's jets are going to Tyndall. Sounds like each squadron at Elmo and Langley will get 23 TAA. |

| Disco, remember that the decision to base jets at HO was made prior to the official termination of production; they were planning on a larger fleet size. The squadron that is going to TY will remain a opertaional squadron. Tyndall will be reflagged as a ACC base and the squadron going there will have 21 jets in addition to the 43rd's 29 jets. Still no mention of what the new squadron will be. |

Hi guys
HO is loosing its RAPTORS ... ok
2 * 20 per squadron = 40 birds
according to USAF : 6 * 1st WG + 6 * 3rd WG + 2 * 57th WG + 1 * 325th WG = 15 birds + one of the HO squadrons to Tyndall * 20 = 35 RAPTORS
what's about the others 5 birds ?
any idea ? |
