Tyson reported for flight training in Pensacola, Fla., after serving a brief tour ashore in Washington.
She earned her wings as a naval flight officer in 1983.

Woman to become Alabama Air National Guard's first female fighter pilot

Pilot Sara Ferrero will be in Alabama next fall flying one of the F-16 Fighting Falcons with the 100th Fighter Squadron.

Capt. Jessica "MACH" Hietpas, dark grey Eagle Driver of the 389th Fighter Squadron at Mt Home AFB. Currently training with Tyndall's 43rd FS at Combat Hammer by being a target for (Red Air) and with (Blue Air) the F-22s.

Apparently, the F-22s made her a true believer when she was Red Air (and very confident when she was Blue Air with them).

Oh harro.
