I have been retained by an after-market aerospace company to help them recruit a candidate for the position[b] F-16 Maintenance Engineer. Candidates must have an Engineering Degree. The position is responsible for providing F-16 engineering support to provide customers with fleet sustainment, aircraft recovery and modification/upgrade projects. Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, configuration or design changes, and other data to plan and develop F-16 maintenance support activities. Domestic and International travel is required
Candidates must have a minimum of 7 - 10 years experience in the areas of engineering or depot level operations on the F-16 platform. Knowledge of commercial/military maintenance programs a plus. Bachelor's degree in engineering and military experience is a plus. Foreign language skills are welcome. Candidates should possess the following skills:
• Comprehensive F-16 platform and its maintenance activity knowledge
• Thorough knowledge of F-16 Technical Orders
• Drawing Interpretation, Bill of Material, repair scheme and work package preparation
• Customer OEM/relations, including aircraft surveys repair oversight
• Statement of Work development
• Contract review and material sourcing development
Candidate will have the following proven abilities:
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Concise and exact communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency including Microsoft Project
• Ability to operate in a team environment
