| I was there last weekend. Met a friend of mine who is picking his airframe at the end of Sept. He said the last selection had only 4 AH-64s. Some classes have seen up to 7... In a class with 7 AH-64s, I can almost guarantee it if I keep it up. 3-4 I don't know, depends on the competition, OML includes the darn PT score I never seem to be able to max out... |

Selected my advanced aircraft...
They dropped 8 Apaches, 6 Kiowas, 7 Hawks, and 1 Fox Model Chinook. |

I bet not many wanted -64s... I start WOCS in a couple weeks, by the time I graduate, you'll be still sitting in that bubble, waiting to start ... |

| Last aircraft to go was actually 58D's. Everybody save for two guys got their first choice and that was mostly because they didnt drop any fixed wings with our class. As it stands they tell us the Apache Hold is down to about 4 months but with the actual number of names on the list to class up its looking more like 2-3. Now if you'll excuse me I have a phone book sized -10 to memorize... |

Also do yourself a favor and start doing your pushups/situps to an over exajurated form. WOCS school PT tests are notoriously over emphasised on the 21-20 rules. I probably lost 15-20 good pushups because I use a wide grip and the grader (paranoid about being giged for an honor violation) wanted to make sure the TAC standing over him noticed him being diligent in his duties as a PT grader.
Having been the PTO for my Class at WOCS and the OIC for 3 different PT tests its pretty rediculous. Mostly its just the first one, the final PT test is all about hooking up your buddy by comparison. But you dont wanna be the poor dude that gets thrown into hold status for an extra 2 months because your PT test scores were disqualifying. |

| That is the only thing I have been worrying about. I had been on flag duty, no PT for a few months, and they made me take one today so I could final out from Hunter. Scored a low 229 with only 58 push-ups, I usually max out. I always get distracted when they start telling me go lower, break the plane. I am hoping for a good grader, I skimmed over that SOP, it is understandable why they are paranoid... So yea, if they got you by 15-20, I don't know what I would do. I have 16 days until I report, I should do 10 correct push-ups here and there everyday... |

| Work out with pushup bars until about 3 or 4 days before the test. You'll get quick results. |

| Blah, it wasn't that bad. They even canceled the last APFT due to terrible weather conditions, almost airborne shuffled the final ruck march though. Made honor grad. |

Thanks a lot... Just sitting in the bubble right now Hopefully it won't be hard to pick the 64 when the time comes, everything seems to be PT test dependent... I am 32, PT is about to go down hill... |

| That'll definitely get you the flight time! Well 10 years from now when you're a CW3, don't forget the little guys who fix and arm your birds (flying pizza out to the FARP would be nice of you, LOL). |
