Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I am going TDY to Davis Monthan for a Snowbird trip. I am in the National Guard. Our FM office is saying that since we will be in "AT" status, government lodging and meals are AVAILABLE (not provided, so we will have to pay for them), we are NOT entitled any per diem. If we went in "ST" status, which they will not allow technicians to do, we would get $15 per day. Our FM office is saying our BAS ($[Link pending approval]) is what we will have to use for meals, which anyone who has been there knows this will not cover meals with the "[Link pending approval]; I have heard other units going there get the $15/day per diem, and we used to, but now they've changed it.
Sorry this was so long winded, but any feedback would be appreciated.
THANKS! |
