I have built a homecockpit for flying F16 and other jets in FSX. Its a lowcost project, easy to build.
Great fun to build, and great fun to fly! Watch the video:

Awesome work, HP! How many hours did this take? Beyond the... 'ohh, it took just 16 hrs that's all...' Smile

And have to ask: have you had to eject yet?!? I hope the neighbors in the above apartment won't mind your smiling face coming through their kitchen floor while saying: eject eject eject... Very Happy

I have been building this for about 2 years. The costs are about 3-4000 USD. It is a great hobby, but you need of course some place to build, some tools, and some skills in woodwork, electronic and computing.
My last buildingproject is a helmet with speakers. When I enter the tight cockpit, put on the gloves and helmet, put on the light, start the engine, call the tower, start the afterburner..........

For $4000 I'd think you'd get a better ACESII and some Thrustmaster F-16 FLCS and TQS?

Sorry, the price mentioned above is wrong. Building costs (without the computer) are about 1200 USD. But the project is developing....
