Hi guys!

Just curious...
Does anybody know if the USAF will equip its fleet of Vipers with the advanced Sniper XR Pod? If yes, when will be?

LANTIRN used to be it. Now it is old tech and patched up to look new tech.
Becoming more trouble than it is worth.

LITENING already equiping various DOD aircraft ( Reserve and some Guard F-16s for example, Harrier, A-10, B-52 to name a few. ) and doing an excellent job.

SNIPER in typical DOD fashion, this provides another vendor to compete against LITENING. Components of the SNIPER will be part of the tech that gives the JSF lasing ability.
