| It was not a major engine loss, just an engine malfunction that caused one of the jets to divert and the wing man to follow. The low lube light lit up in flight. |

Apparently it was <a href="aircraft-database/F-16/airframe-profile/2681/">88-0444</a>
 USAF F-16C block 40 #88-0444 belonging to the 510th FS made an emergency landing at Rome's Fiumicino Airport due to an engine nozzle problem. |
