hi everyone i started with my project. it is an RC F16 1:5 scale. i hope you like it. i accept any opinions and share techniques and skills. at this moment i´ve prepared the sections of the intake and forward fuselage. i´ve aligned it with aluminium tubes 15mm dia. and frames that they help to avoid the torsion of sections.

thanks habu,
for the original model i´ll use balsa sheet, then it will be covered with a thin layer of fiberglass and finally with aluminium sheet 0.3mm.
i don't know yet if i´ll use lay up fiberglass for the mold and final model, i´m looking for a tecnique that make the best copy of the original model

It is the best way for copying any object, especially your F16. The first layer has to be gellcoat, after that you can use epoxy with fiberglass. I am going to this the same way.
I think that I will cover the plug also with thin alu. It is a lot off work but the end result will be super I think.

thanks habu, i dont know how heavy it is, maybe 10-15kg at the moment. for this the weigth is not important but for the final model made with fiber glass this is important and must weigth around 20kg on take off.
