Well, I've been frequenting the forums for about 3 years. Found this section after consideration of a career in the airforce/ang as a pilot.
I'm graduating from college in a year with a bachelor's in Management information systems, and plan on getting my private pilots licence after school.
The question is, where do I start? Where can i find more information about becoming a pilot in the ANG and OTS for the airforce? |

| www.wantscheck.com is a good resource. It has lots of information about all the different ways to earn a pilot slot. |

| You could also try www.baseops.net I would forgo a recruiter at this point. OTS and Guard slots are pretty competitive but a great deal if you can land a slot . Another consideration would be going back to school and getting your masters degree (MBA maybe?) and enrolling in ROTC. If thats out of the question, contact a local ANG unit and see when they are accepting applicants for a pilot slot. |
