Just wondering what are everyone's thoughts on the best jobs for crewing F-16's abroad?
Im looking at applying for a few and Id love some input from you all.
Saudi sounds appealing but so does the [Link pending approval]
Location is pretty vital but not as much as accomodations and ammenities.
Whats out there? Experienced guys can you chime in?
Thanks for any input |

Doing and have been doing the Iraq thing for a while. Would like a change of scenery but like the pay. Im a single guy with no house and no bills and I just want to work and make some loot.
Any other opinions? |

| the Netherlands gig sounds good doent pay as well as the sand box. about 50000 a year but you only half to pay for food and gas thats it. but i would go Euro before the sand box. and the Netherlands contract is not in danger like a lot of them will be come in the next couple of years. |

| ow in the Netherlands you dont crew the plane they hire you as a crew chief but your not one like in the Air force your a subject matter expert if it breaks you act like AFETS if they can not figure it out they come to you. Is what I was told by daedalus when they called me last week. |

| I worked in Holland for two years with DAS. It was a great gig, however with respect to Pomeroy this is not correct at all. If hired you will more than likely either work in Phase or on the flightline. You will be working with all 7 levels and will be required to crew on a daily basis. The Dutch are very experienced and you will certainly not function as a AFETS type, you will grab your tool bag and get with it right away. Just be sure not to cut any streamers too short he he he. |

Not trying to be nosey but why leave? Was the contract for two years or did you receive a better offer from another company? |
