| Got to work to day and saw an AWACS sitting on the east runway minus the nose gear. Happened late Friday night. Don't know the cause. |

I love how the Air Force website article stated that the AWACS and its crew were "deployed" to Red Flag from Tinker. 
"Deployed"? Really? I'll bet they don't want to swap deployments with my squadron. Let's call it what it really is folks...a TDY!
