I'm not sure this is in the correct forum so mods if you need to please move it.
The Hagerstown airport is raising funds to build a aircraft museum. Hagerstown is rich in aviation history, for many years we had Fairchild here. All the A-10's in the USAF were build here, along with the flying Boxcar and all sorts of other aircraft.
As part of the fund raiser they have the Wings of Freedom here. They are a B-17,B-24, and P-51.
All can be walked though for $12 adult, $6 child, and free for all WW2 vets. The real deal is for $425 you can get a 1/2 hour ride in the bombers and for only $2250 you can have a 1/2 hour stick time in the P-51C, or a hour for only $3000.
I saw the B-17 flying over town yesterday and all I could say was WOW. I'll see if I can get some pics to post here.
