Hot pitting blows. Especially if the weather is crap and your pentagraph is crap. It also sucks if your pentagraph is crap and your pilot's an a$$ and wont put his/her flaps up so you can hook it up easier. F- 16s don't do ICTs anymore. Crewchiefs stopped getting trained on them in about 2002/03. We hot pitted every time our squadron surged.( all the time ) |

| Sorry to dissapoint you here, but there is no flap lever. So don't blame the pilot for being as a$$, accept it as something that will never change in the Viper. |

| The pilot can put the flight control switch into maintenance while waiting for the refuel. This will bring the flaperons up so we can hotpit without worrying about hitting our heads. This is communicated to the pilot prior to hooking up the hose. |

Thankyou chickenlegs. I'm not saying all pilots are a$$es, just some- the ones that are too good to hit a switch to help out. |

ICT has been renamed to cocurrent servicing, I haven't seen others performing it yet as it was still under refinement at the command level last time I heard.
** edit **
I think it may be named concurrent not cocurrent, but not sure. |

SGO-Sortie Generation Operations
Yes, your correct in that it is called Concurrent Servicing Operations.
It has been approved and is in use. Instead of an Aircraft Turnaround Supervisor, they are now called Concurrent Service Supervisors. And again, correct when accomplishing simultaneous fueling and loading of armament. |
