The Forum seems to be suffering from an extreme strain of Overpostitis, or Digital Diarrhea of the Forum Threads.
From resurrecting extremely old posts(sometimes VERY distastefully and direspectful) to cluttering up newer threads with an extraordinary volume of ridiculousness and nonsense. This unfortunately has been causing responses that are getting more and more frequent- often forcing loss of focus and aggravation.
I myself have been responding to this barrage of biblical proportions, and I wish to apologize for not showing proper restraint. However- MANY MEMBERS of this great Forum most likely feel the way I do right now, and it shows.
If the source of this problem does not rein themself in and refrain from posting like they are on Death Row, this situation will get explosive. Nothing wrong with posting, mind you- provided it is not just rampant babble to drive a post count into the stratosphere. Making silly comments once in a blue moon adds a little levity to a discussion- but not interjecting them into a serious subject or more importantly- in threads pertaining to the loss of aviator(s). All of this and considerably more has happened past reasonable restraint in the past week.
This must cease and desist for the good of all that are allowed the privilege of accessing this Forum and Site. I submit this out of respect for this Forum and being allowed the privilege to be here as well.
Sincerely,
Dwight D. Maxwell

Well put sir. I could not agree more esp. about the loss of focus to the topic. Perfect example was the 747 over NYC topic. And just for the record this is not a random post to drive up my count. |

Let it ride dudes … ignore it and press on
Use the fly technique
1. You catch more flies with honey
2. Fly’s eat sh*t and bother people
3. Don’t let it bother you and they will fly away
We're all hiding behind this computer and actually I get a laugh at some of the buffoonery … unless you have a photo of yourself on Parrotheads post (photo for screen name) if not shut-up! |

LOL guys,
I agree completely. It is too bad that we are hiding behind a computer and cannot actually meet. I am sure the stories and comradery would go along way!! It is enough though to know that there are other aviation buffs out there. Cheers to all. Emotion always gets the best of those with a passion. |

| Stoli, I read your post loud and clear. It is understood who the culprit is, and the chain of command has already been alerted to the issue. Stay tuned. |

Hi all !
I know how we can get him muted for a long time ; let's make that he cannot post until he succeeds with A+ in an exam containing the following subjects :
- mathematical analysis, until at least the residue theorem
- linear algebra
- numerical analysis
- partial differential equations
- physics, ranging from newtonian mechanics, fluid mechanics, engineering mechanics, and electromagnetism
- a special emphasis on the works about diffraction theory by Petr Yakovlevich Ufimtsev
- a pilot licence
With this, he should be able to say less dumb things, if he's still alive after that (In the list, there's only partial differential analysis, engineering mechanics, diffraction theory and the 36 hours 46 mins left for my pilot licence that I haven't completed, and I can tell you just these things would take a lot of time...) !
See you
Eric, 1 semester till my Master of Physics... |

Once you're done with physics you might want to focus on third-grade spelling.

| True, but anybody can miss-spell a word or make a typo on occasion. |

Hell, if it came down to that, I'd never be able to post here again!
(in my best Eric Cartman voice) "Screw you guys! I'm going home..."
Oh well. I wouldn't worry. It eventually all comes out in the rinse, and these situations generally take care of themselves. |

Yeah, but desperate cases like him require desperate measures ! |
